Clapper Musical Toy, 18 Months +

The rattle sound is just loud enough to be fun without being annoying. My toddler has been carrying it around the house all week, and the smooth wood finish seems really durable for a kid's toy.

My 20-month-old loves the solid wood feel and the cheerful clack sounds this makes when he shakes it—it’s sturdy enough for his enthusiastic play. The rattle is perfectly sized for his little hands, and he’ll sit there happily making noise for a good ten minutes at a time.

My 18-month-old loves shaking this wooden car rattle, and the solid wood construction feels really sturdy. The clack sounds are cheerful without being too harsh, which is a nice balance. Only minor note is the wheels don't roll perfectly smooth, but for a musical toy it's fine.
