My 7-year-old spent a whole afternoon carefully chipping away at the plaster block with the hammer and chisel, and the excitement when he uncovered the first fossil was priceless. My son spent a whole afternoon carefully chipping away at the block with the little hammer, and he was thrilled each time a new fossil bone appeared. The three hidden skeletons kept him engaged and made the whole dig feel like a real archaeological mission.
