Nicholas ★★★★★

The FSC wood gives it a nice natural feel in the hand, and the see-through body makes it easy to line up bearings. My kids actually fought over who got to use it first on our hike.

Lucy M. ★★★★★

I love how the clear plastic body lets me see the needle moving as I turn—it’s perfect for teaching my kids about directions during hikes. The wood feels sturdy and well-made, and it’s already survived a few drops on the trail.

Michael F. ★★★★☆

The see-through body is a nice touch, lets you actually watch the needle settle instead of just trusting it. It's got a solid heft that feels good in the hand, though I wish the wood had a bit more of a polished finish. Works perfectly for teaching my kid the basics of orienteering on our hikes.
