The neck flap is genuinely long—it covers her whole neck and the back of her ears even when she's craning to look at everything. It's so light she forgets she's wearing it, which is the highest compliment for a toddler hat.

My little one actually keeps this hat on, which is a miracle. The peppermint color is adorable and the lightweight fabric doesn't make her overheat. The extra long neck flap gives me peace of mind at the park.

Finally, a sun hat with a neck flap long enough to actually keep the sun off my toddler's neck. It’s light and seems breathable, though I wish the chin strap were adjustable.
